The purpose of this website is to inform you that there has been a proposed Settlement for the owner or last owner of an “Annuity.” The term “Annuity” is defined in Section II.6. of the Settlement Agreement. Please also refer to the response to Question No. 6 in the Class Notice entitled “Do I own an Annuity included in the Settlement?” The owners or last owners of such “Annuities” may be entitled to benefits from this Class Action Settlement.

For Class Members who own and/or have owned more than one “Annuity,” as that term is defined in Section II.6. of the Settlement Agreement, the proposed Settlement and the information on this website applies to each “Annuity.”

Important Update: On September 24, 2014, the Court entered its Amended Final Order Approving the Class Action Settlement and Final Judgment of Dismissal with Prejudice. Pursuant to Section II.A.13. of the Settlement Agreement, Midland will set the Benefit Determination Date for October 24, 2014. Accordingly, the Effective Date, under Section II.A.20. of the Settlement Agreement, will be advanced to October 24, 2014. Please refer to the Settlement Agreement and Class Notice for information about the Settlement benefits and the timing of those Settlement benefits.
